The Investment Account template stores brokerage, retirement, and investment account metadata. Enable it under Settings → Category templates → Financial depth.

Steps
- Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates.
- Under Financial depth, toggle Investment Account On.
- Open Assets and Add asset → Investment account.
- Fill required fields and Save.
Tips and common mistakes
- Enable pack first—Investment Account is not a core builtin.
- Do not paste account numbers into Secure Note—you lose masking and share hard-blocks.
- Pair with Credential for the broker login; keep account metadata here.
