The Investment Account template stores brokerage, retirement, and investment account metadata. Enable it under Settings → Category templates → Financial depth.

Steps

  1. Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates.
  2. Under Financial depth, toggle Investment Account On.
  3. Open Assets and Add assetInvestment account.
  4. Fill required fields and Save.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Enable pack first—Investment Account is not a core builtin.
  • Do not paste account numbers into Secure Note—you lose masking and share hard-blocks.
  • Pair with Credential for the broker login; keep account metadata here.
