Document template

Last updated: 28 Jun 2026

Official optional pack—pair metadata with attachment scans.

Who this is for

Anyone storing passport numbers, national ID details, expiry dates, and scanned copies of identity documents in one encrypted item.

What you need

TierFree
Vault stateUnlocked
NetworkOffline after the first successful app load
Feature toggleDocument pack enabled—see Enable category template packs

Steps

Enable the pack

  1. Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates).
  2. Toggle Document On.

Create a document item

  1. Open https://se.nt2.me/assets and select Add assetDocument.
  2. Enter a title (e.g. “Passport — 2031 expiry”).
  3. Fill document type, ID number, issuing authority, expiry date, and other structured fields.
  4. Save the item before adding scans (or continue in the same session).

Attach a scan

  1. With the item open, scroll to Attachments.
  2. Add a PDF or image (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF) up to 10 MB—see Encrypted attachments.
  3. Preview the scan from the attachment list to confirm readability.

Copy ID numbers

  1. Use Copy on number or expiry fields when filling travel or KYC forms.
  2. Paste within 30 seconds—clipboard auto-clears after that.

Renew or replace

  1. Edit fields when you renew a passport or ID.
  2. Replace old attachment files after uploading the new scan.
  3. Archive expired documents you want to keep for records but hide from daily filters.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Metadata + scan—structured fields make items findable by title/tags; attachments hold the visual record.
  • 10 MB limit—compress high-resolution phone photos if uploads fail.
  • Safe display—use Safe presentation mode when showing IDs on screen near others.
  • Enable pack first—Document is optional; Credential alone lacks document-specific fields.
