Steps

Enable the pack

  1. Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates).
  2. Under Automotive, toggle Fleet Vehicle On.

Create a fleet item

  1. Open https://se.nt2.me/assets and select Add assetFleet vehicle.
  2. Enter a title and fill unit number—required for fleet identity.
  3. Add make & model, VIN, license plate, and odometer reading.
  4. Optionally fill asset tag if you also track IT inventory.
  5. Save.

Insurance or ops handoff

  1. Use selective disclosure to share unit number, plate, and make/model—VIN stays hard-blocked by default.
  2. Use Vault tags to group vehicles by depot or region.

Update odometer

  1. Edit odometer after service intervals or fuel reports.
  2. Archive sold units; personal vehicles belong in Vehicle Registration.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Unit number is the fleet key—consistent numbering helps search and handoffs.
  • IT packs optional—asset tag field works without enabling Infrastructure & IT templates.
  • Not server inventory—VM hostnames belong in Server.
  • Product boundary—NT² does not track maintenance schedules or telematics.
