What this template is

Steps
Enable the pack
- Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (
https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates). - Under Automotive, toggle Fleet Vehicle On.
Create a fleet item
- Open
https://se.nt2.me/assetsand select Add asset → Fleet vehicle. - Enter a title and fill unit number—required for fleet identity.
- Add make & model, VIN, license plate, and odometer reading.
- Optionally fill asset tag if you also track IT inventory.
- Save.
Insurance or ops handoff
- Use selective disclosure to share unit number, plate, and make/model—VIN stays hard-blocked by default.
- Use Vault tags to group vehicles by depot or region.
Update odometer
- Edit odometer after service intervals or fuel reports.
- Archive sold units; personal vehicles belong in Vehicle Registration.
Tips and common mistakes
- Unit number is the fleet key—consistent numbering helps search and handoffs.
- IT packs optional—asset tag field works without enabling Infrastructure & IT templates.
- Not server inventory—VM hostnames belong in Server.
- Product boundary—NT² does not track maintenance schedules or telematics.
