What this template is
The Commercial Lease template stores storefront and mall lease reference data—property address, landlord, monthly rent, lease start, and lease end—with expiry reminders eligible on Lease end.
When to use it (and when not to)
Good fits
- Mall or strip-mall storefront lease with renewal date
- Franchise location rent and landlord contact
- Tracking lease end alongside Retail Location for the same store number

Tips and common mistakes
- Not residential property—home mortgages belong in Property.
- Dates drive reminders—empty Lease end means no renewal nudge.
- Portal passwords in Credential—lease metadata here; landlord portal login stays separate.
- Product boundary—NT² does not calculate CPI escalations, pay rent, or file legal notices.
