Is the local vault really free forever?

Yes. Create, unlock, search, edit, export, and import your vault on your device with no subscription. Cloud Sync is only for optional cross-device sync. File-based .nt2legacy export stays free.

What does Cloud Sync include?

Cloud Sync ($2.99/mo or $24.99/yr) unlocks cross-device sync, R2 attachments, and share-relay quotas. File-based .nt2legacy export stays free. The former Legacy & Elite plan is withdrawn.

How do I upgrade?

Open the vault app at https://se.nt2.me, unlock your vault, and go to Settings → Premium. Premium is currently granted with redemption codes in Settings → Premium; card checkout via Polar opens there when billing is enabled.

Can NT² reset my master password?

No. There is no password recovery by design—that is what zero-knowledge means. Keep your master password safe and maintain `.nt2backup` backups.
