Tags and filters

Cross-category organization beyond template type.
Who this is for
Anyone organizing assets across template types—projects, clients, risk levels, or any label that category chips alone cannot express.
What you need
| Tier | Free |
| Vault state | Unlocked |
| Network | Offline after the first successful app load |
| Feature toggle | Tags enabled (default on; see Feature controls if hidden) |
Steps
Create and manage tags
- Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Tags (
https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/tags). - Select Add tag, enter a name, and save.
- Edit or delete tags from the same screen—deleting a tag removes it from items but does not delete the items themselves.
Tag an asset item
- Open
https://se.nt2.me/assetsand create or edit an item. - In the editor, open the Tags control and select one or more tags.
- Save the item. Tags also appear on the detail panel when viewing the asset.
Filter the asset list by tag
- On the Assets screen, open the filter sheet (filter icon or panel).
- Select one or more tags—items matching any selected tag are shown (combined with category and search filters).
- Remove tag filters from active filter chips or clear the filter sheet.
Use tags elsewhere
- Tags created in Settings are shared across assets, contacts, and inbox where tagging is supported.
- Pin a tag for dashboard quick access—see Pinned favorites and recents.
Tips and common mistakes
- Tags ≠ categories—category chips filter by template type; tags are your own cross-cutting labels.
- Rename carefully—renaming a tag updates the label everywhere it is applied.
- Filter “any”—multiple tag filters show items that match at least one selected tag, not necessarily all.
- Feature off?—if Tags settings are missing, an admin-style toggle may have disabled tags; see Feature controls.
