Add the vault app to your home screen after the first online visit.

Who this is for

Browser users who want a home-screen icon, faster reopen, and reliable offline app shell after the first visit.

What you need


Tier	Free
Vault state	Any (install before or after creating a vault)
Network	First visit must succeed online
Feature toggle	Web only—not Tauri desktop/mobile

Steps

Install from Chrome (desktop or Android)

Open se.nt2.me and wait for the app to load fully.
Use the browser Install prompt or menu → Install NT² Vault / Add to Home screen.
Open the installed app from your launcher—it still uses the same local vault data in that browser profile.

Install from Safari (iOS or macOS)

Open se.nt2.me in Safari.
Tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
Confirm the name and add. Launch from the home screen icon.

PWA settings in the vault

Unlock (optional) and open Settings → General → Install app (https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/pwa).
Review install status and browser-specific hints shown there.

What works offline after install

Create, unlock, search, edit assets, attachments (local), backup export/import, and most sharing prep—after the shell is cached.
First-time Premium sync or share relay still needs network when you use those features.

Tips and common mistakes

PWA data stays in this browser profile—installing on another device does not copy your vault.
Clearing all site data for se.nt2.me removes local vaults unless you have .nt2backup exports.
