Enable category template packs
Last updated: 28 Jun 2026
Core Credential and Secure Note are always on; official packs are opt-in.
Who this is for
Vault owners who want structured fields beyond Credential and Secure Note—crypto seeds, bank details, identity documents, or TOTP codes.
What you need
| Tier | Free for Crypto, Bank, Document; Premium for TOTP |
| Vault state | Unlocked |
| Network | Offline after the first successful app load |
| Feature toggle | None |
Steps
- Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (
https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates). - Review the list: Credential and Secure Note show as core builtins (always on).
- Find an optional official pack—Crypto Wallet, Bank Account, Document, or TOTP / 2FA.
- Toggle the pack On. The change saves immediately to this vault’s local profile.
- Open Assets (
https://se.nt2.me/assets) and select Add asset—the enabled templates now appear in the picker. - Confirm category chips above the asset list include the new template types (counts appear once you create items).
Disable a pack later
- Return to Settings → Category templates.
- Toggle a pack Off. Items already created with that template remain in your vault; you can still open and edit them.
- The template disappears from Add asset and from filter chips until you enable it again.
Tips and common mistakes
- TOTP requires Premium—if the toggle is locked, upgrade or restore Premium before enabling; see Help: Billing.
- Not the same as custom templates—official packs ship with NT²; Custom templates (Premium L1) let you author your own categories.
- Per-vault setting—each vault on your device has its own enabled packs; enable packs again after creating a new vault if needed.
- Document + attachments—identity scans work best with the Document template plus Encrypted attachments.
