Crypto Wallet template
Last updated: 28 Jun 2026
Official optional pack—enable in Settings → Templates.
Who this is for
Anyone storing cryptocurrency wallet labels, mnemonic seed phrases, or private keys in structured fields—not pasted into a generic note.
What you need
| Tier | Free |
| Vault state | Unlocked |
| Network | Offline after the first successful app load |
| Feature toggle | Crypto Wallet pack enabled—see Enable category template packs |
Steps
Enable the pack
- Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (
https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates). - Toggle Crypto Wallet On and confirm it appears in the enabled list.
Create a wallet item
- Open
https://se.nt2.me/assetsand select Add asset → Crypto Wallet. - Enter a title (wallet name or chain).
- Fill wallet name, mnemonic phrase, private key, and notes as appropriate—leave unused fields empty.
- Save. Sensitive fields encrypt locally; use copy buttons only when needed.
Copy seed or key safely
- Open the wallet item from the list.
- Use Copy on mnemonic or private key fields.
- Paste into your signing app within 30 seconds—clipboard auto-clears automatically.
Maintain and back up
- Edit when rotating keys or updating labels.
- Export a Recovery kit or
.nt2backup—NT² cannot recover lost master passwords or seeds. - Delete moves the item to Trash; purge only when you are sure the seed is backed up elsewhere.
Tips and common mistakes
- Enable pack first—Crypto Wallet does not appear in Add asset until toggled on in Settings.
- Do not use Secure Note for seeds—structured fields reduce paste errors and offer dedicated copy actions.
- Never screenshot mnemonics—copy via NT² buttons and paste directly; clipboard clears in 30 seconds but screen capture persists.
- Separate wallets—one item per wallet or chain reduces blast radius if you ever share or export a subset.
