When to use it (and when not to)

Good fits

  • Full WireGuard config in a multiline secret field
  • Separate items per site or region

Use something else instead

Everyday workflows

  • Paste WireGuard config into the dedicated multiline field when applicable.
  • Store VPN endpoint and credentials for legacy IPSec/OpenVPN setups.
  • Never share VPN secrets via Mode D—defaults hard-block masked fields.
