What this template is
The Prescription template stores medication name, prescription number, pharmacy contact, and refill date. Enable it under Settings → Category templates → Health & Medical.
When to use it (and when not to)
Good fits
- Recurring prescriptions with pharmacy phone
- Family medications with separate Rx numbers
- Refill tracking with structured expiry dates
Use something else instead
Everyday workflows
- Enable Prescription under Enable category template packs → Health & Medical.
- One item per medication; set refill date for reminder hooks.
- Rx numbers are masked and hard-blocked from share by default.

What you need
Steps
Enable the pack
- Unlock your vault and open Settings → General → Category templates (
https://se.nt2.me/settings/general/templates).
- Under Health & Medical, toggle Prescription On.
Create a prescription item
- Open
https://se.nt2.me/assets and select Add asset → Prescription.
- Enter a title and fill medication, prescription number, and pharmacy.
- Add refill / expiry date and pharmacy phone for refill calls.
- Save.
Refill reminder
- Confirm Refill / expiry date is set.
- Enable expiry reminders in Settings when available for your vault.
- Open the item before the date to Copy Rx number for the pharmacy IVR—clipboard auto-clears after 30 seconds.
Update or remove
- Edit when dosage changes or a new Rx number is issued.
- Archive discontinued medications.
Tips and common mistakes
- One item per medication—do not merge family prescriptions into one Secure Note.
- Pharmacy portal in Credential—website passwords are not Rx numbers.
- Rx number is sensitive—use structured fields, not photos pasted into notes without encryption context.
- Product boundary—NT² stores reference data only; it does not request refills or check drug interactions.
