Who this is for
Users who want a slimmer vault UI—hiding optional modules like Travel Mode, vault health, or digital legacy—without deleting underlying data or disabling core asset storage.
What you need
| Tier | Free |
| Vault state | Unlocked to change toggles |
| Network | Offline |
| Feature toggle | N/A — this page controls other toggles |
Steps
Open feature controls
- Go to Settings → Preferences → Feature controls (
https://se.nt2.me/settings/preferences/featureControls). - Each row toggles an optional vault feature—off hides related menu entries and screens; on restores them.
Common optional features
| Toggle | When enabled |
|---|---|
| Vault health | Vault health settings + dashboard scan cards |
| Duplicate warnings | Save-time duplicate hints (Vault health guide) |
| Travel Mode | Security → Travel Mode |
| Security activity | Activity log under Advanced |
| Digital legacy | Legacy emergency under Sharing |
| Tags / Quick access / CSV import | Respective settings and nav surfaces |
Defaults vary—some ship off (vault health) to reduce noise for new users.
What toggles do not do
- Turning off a feature does not delete items, attachments, or SQLite rows created while it was on.
- Core templates (credential, secure note) and backup/recovery stay always available.
- Premium entitlement is separate—disabling cloud sync UI does not cancel subscription.
Tips and common mistakes
- Re-enable Vault health before relying on dashboard warnings after migration.
- Hidden Activity log removes Advanced nav entry entirely—enable before auditing security events.
- Family sharing setups: align toggles across devices manually—feature prefs are local to each install.
